Finally, we can share that KOK Oslo's Langkaia department has its own mothership! Her name is Saga, and she's a year-round swimming island with stylish facilities!
There will be easier access for everyone, a unifying atmosphere, a kiosk and sale of towels and swimwear, so you can be completely spontaneous if you want, and not least, we finally have showers in place. The water may be cold, but it's fresh, clean and awesome. And then of course there's the sale of Bath swabs, a light and fresh beer with 2.4% alcohol. In other words, it's a light beer that's perfect for a sauna where alcohol can quickly go straight to your head 🔥
Oslo's bathing island also has benches, wide stairs, plants and trees, snacks, water and a narrow ramp with the right slope so you can arrive in style without falling down the stairs.
The bathing island is an old barge that we bought second-hand on Finn in the fall of 2022. It has been transformed into a kind of beach club, only without sand, and even cooler than Nikki Beach. And she can accommodate larger events, something we know is desired by many.
